Dr. Hooria Olsen
Hooria graduated from Cardiff Dental School in 1993. She worked in hospital dentistry in the field of Oral Surgery for a few years before moving into general practice. After 10 years of experience in practice, she started Olsens Dental Practice in July 2005. She is especially passionate about: Cosmetic/Restorative Dentistry, Children’s Dentistry, Invisalign, and Implants. She has recently acquired her Certificate in Cosmetic Dentistry and Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry (Sept 2008), and is has recently been certified to provide Invisalign (Clear Braces). Hooria is a member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (BACD) and the British Dental Association (BDA).
Her interests include: Music, Travel, Film, and Baking with the kids.
She lives locally with her husband and 2 children.

Dr. Piotr Strojek
Piotr joined us in January 2009. He attained his dental degree in 1999, and has since dedicated himself to working in General Dental Practice, particularly in
Aesthetic Porcelain and Composite restorations.
He completed his Aesthetic Dentistry 6 month course last year (2008).
His interests include: snowboarding, kite surfing, international cuisine, travel, and music.

Dr. Spiridon Stavropoulos
Spiros joined Olsens in February 2009. He qualified as a dental surgeon in Greece in 1996, and has since worked in practice. He has also been the owner of his
own practice in Greece for 7 years. His clinical interests include: Cosmetic Dentistry, Veneers, Crowns, Bridges, whitening, and Implants. He is currently
studying at the Eastman Postgraduate Institute, to gain his Masters in Implantology. Spiros’s interests include: kite surfing, snowboarding, travelling, fine food
and sailing. His recent sailing holiday around Ithaca in Greece has earned him the nickname of ‘Odysseus’.

Dr. Prakash Promod
Prakash completed his dental degree in 2001 and has since been working in the field of Oral Surgery. He was awarded membership to the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons (Glasgow) in 2004 and holds membership of the British Association of Oral and Maxilofacial Surgeons.
Currently studying for a medical degree, he is involved in research and has published his findings in scientific journals and presented at conferences.
His work encompasses:

1. Wisdom Teeth Removal
2. Facial Rejuvenation- Botox and Restylane
3. Intravenous Sedation
4. Implants

His interests include music (particularly singing – he won a MTV India Competition), travel and has recently become a new dad.
He has been a valuable member of our team since 2007.

Miss Vicky Potkins – Hygienist
We are very happy to have Vicky Potkins as our hygienist at Olsen’s Dental Practice. Vicky trained at Bart’s Hospital, London and when she is not giving her expert
attention to teeth and gums, she will be at home looking after her 3 cats and designing intricate tapestries. Vicky is a dedicated health care professional and a very
valuable member of our family team.

Miss Magda Pomaranska- Reception
Magda is the Front Desk Manager at Olsen’s and her’s is the voice that you will hear when you call us. Intrested in climate changes and meteorology in her free time
but really keen on dental aspects too. She has 7 years experience in customer service and is always happy to help.

Miss Erin Gadsby
Erin joined us recently, and comes to us from Sunny Austalia. She has 6 years of experience as a dental nurse, and is very keen and conscientious.
Her sunny personality and warm caring nature ensures you will have a comfortable pleasant dental experience.
Her many talents also include writing, art, baking, and she enjoys music, dancing, and travel.
