Our summer holidays
I would like to inform all patients that the surgery will be closed from the 4th – 24th August. During this period, any urgent daytime emergencies can be dealt with by my colleague Dr Simon Godley, of 42 The Dental Practice, 42 Pembridge Road, London W11 3HN. if you are receiving on-going treatment with me, I would ask you to book your appointment well in advance of our summer closing date.
In-House Payment Plan
I am advising all patients to join our In-House Payment Plan : Just £18 per month will cover your maintenance work (2 check ups and 2 hygiene appointments per year, and 2 small x-rays). It also includes a 10% discount on all routine treatments, e.g. fillings and crowns and provides worldwide Emergency cover, 365 days of the year.
New Cancellation Policy
At Olsen’s Dental, I am committed to providing you with treatment at appointment times which are convenient to you. However, due to a high and therefore unacceptable level of cancelled and failed appointments, I have had to reassess our booking system.
patients will now be asked to leave a deposit of 50% of the cost of the treatment on booking their appointments.
If your appointment is kept, this deposit will be deducted from the cost of the treatment. If your appointment is cancelled not later than 2 working days (48 hours) before the appointment time and is re-booked for another time, the deposit will be deducted from the cost of the treatment. However,if the appointment is cancelled any later than 48 hours before the appointment time, the deposit will not be refunded.
So that we can keep our treatment prices as reasonable as possible by not passing on our costs to our patients, we will no longer be sending out SMS text reminders and we will no longer be making telephone reminders to patients prior to appointments, but we are happy to send email reminders to any email address which you specify.
